Roundup (a.k.a. glyphosate) is a herbicide produced by Monsanto Agricultural Products Co.
Roundup is an aqueous solution of isopropylamine salt of glyphosate. It is the most widely used herbicide weed control in the agriculture industry, as well as in everyday environments such as gardening and lawn care. Pure isopropylamine salt of glyphosate are colourless crystals at room temperature, but Roundup is made of these crystals dissolved in water.

Roundup kills plants like antibiotics kill bacteria - the glyphosate inhibits up the enzymes that help create amino acids in the plant and the plant dies.
